Check AdBlue level
The
AdBlue level
is shown on the
main screen
by means of a
level indicator
).

maximum;

at approx. half of the tank capacity;

0:
AdBlue level
at approx. 10% of the tank capacity:
Top up
AdBlue
as soon as possible to prevent from reducing engine capacity;

0: There is no more

as soon as possible, the engine capacity is limited to 60%.
If the fluid level reaches approx. 10% of the tank capacity (
red line),
the warning
AdBlue level low
is shown (see
§ 3.9.3.1. Warning AdBlue level low
):

is flashing (1 Hz).
If the fluid level is dropped to

), the EAS system will be disabled:

EAS malfunction
becomes active, simultaneously with the yellow
warning light
on the control panel;

When this error message occurs, the available engine capacity will be limited to 60% of the
maximum torque.
There will always be a small amount of
AdBlue
in the tank (approx. 4 litres) to prevent the EAS system
from sucking air.
If the EAS system cannot adjust the emission within the regulating emission standard,
the maximum engine capacity will also be limited to approx. 60%:

Depending on the malfunction, it can take up to 50 hrs. for the engine capacity to reduce.
INFORMATION!
The AdBlue consumption is approx. 1 litre on 50 litres of fuel.
