S P E C T R A L I N K 8 4 - S E R I E S U S E R G U I D E

When a softkey menu displays, there are two ways to choose a menu item. Use the ▲ and ▲ navigation keys to scroll
through the shortcut menu and press the OK key. Or, press the number of the option on the keypad. Grayed options
are not available.

User Tip: Speed

Using the number option to choose menu items is faster than scrolling with the navigation keys and pressing the
OK button.

Understanding the Status Bar Icons

The Status Bar icons gives you information about the status of your handset. Up to eight icons can display in the
Status Bar and each icon has a fixed position. Each of the Status Bar icons and their definitions are shown next in
