It is also possible to use SpecsLab Prodigy:
1. Select the Device Controls view in SpecsLab Prodigy.
2. Locate the PHOIBOS Spin or the PHOIBOS 1D.
3. Click
Connect
if necessary to establish a connection with the detector.
4. Expand the view.
5. Select the
Para. Voltages
tab.
6. Set the values in Table 3
7. Select the
Calib. Settings
tab.
8. Set the remaining values in Table 3
9. Click
Activate
10. Expand the view to see the set and actual voltages. Check that the set and
actual voltages agree. The voltages in this table are the internal voltages on
the DACs. Before comparing them to measured voltages on the filter boxes, it
is necessary to take the wiring of the HSA 3500plus into account, see Chapter
7 of this manual.
4.1.2 Voltages
With the settings in Table 3, the voltages given in Table 4 should be present on the filter
boxes. Figure 11 shows the pin orientation of the filter boxes.
