9.2 TOOL PATH

Tool path is used to verify how your tools will move through the program. The following is what the
screen will look like.

FIT

–

this allows the user to draw the complete part if the user is using the STEP feature to move

through the program.

STEP

–

allows the user to move step by step through the program.

–

provides a XY view of the part

–

provides a 3D view of the part.

9.3 STEP UP & STEP DOWN

–

DPMEX2 only

The STEP UP & STEP DOWN feature is used only on the DPMEX2 machine when running in 2 axis mode.
This feature allows the user to move the head up and down

1” with each press. This may be required in

run mode when you need to change tools and there is not enough room to remove or add the next tool.
