System Settings (Others)
The “Others” setup allows you to set up other
operational settings.

Press SYSTEM MENU while the recorder is
in stop mode.

Select “SETUP,” and press ENTER.

Select “Others,” and press ENTER.
The “Others” setup appears with the
following options.
Factory Setup
Allows you to return the setup settings to their
defaults without affecting the recorded titles in the
HDD. Note that all of your previous settings,
including the timer settings, will be lost.

Select “Factory Setup,” and press ENTER.

Select “Start,” and press ENTER.
The setup settings return to their defaults, and
the recorder automatically turns off.
Format Hard Disk
Erases all the recorded titles in the HDD at once.
Note that protected titles are also erased.

S/W Update
This is for possible future updates (currently not
planned).
Manufacturer Information
Displays the current software version of your
recorder.

Select “Manufacturer Information,” and press
ENTER.

Press ENTER to return to the previous menu.
