Setting the date and time
Use the buttons on the base phone.
1 Press
flash/program
and

continuously
with the receiver on the base phone.
A voice guide is heard.
2 Enter the proper number for the year,
month and day.
For the year, enter the last two digits.
For example, to set the date to December 5, 2000,
press

3 Set the time.
The unit uses the 24-hour system.
To enter a number smaller than 10, press
0
first.
For example, to set the time to 10:06 PM, press

A beep is heard and the clock starts.
Notes
• If a power interruption occurs, the day and time will be
reset to January 1, 2000. Set the date and time again.
• If the current day and time are not set, you will not be
able to set the time for a morning call.
• If an error beep is heard after step 4, go back to step 1
and follow the steps all over again.
Make sure you enter the correct numbers in steps 2 and 3.

Choosing the dialing mode
This unit automatically selects the appropriate
dialing mode (tone or pulse) for your telephone line.
However, if the call cannot connect , follow the steps
below to select an appropriate dialing mode.

4 Make a trial call.
If the call connects, your dialing system is tone.
If the call cannot connect

Charging the battery pack
Warning
• Do not peel off or scratch the plastic cover on the
battery pack.
• Do not twist the cords of the battery pack.
Charge the battery pack for more than 10 hours
before you start using your phone.
1 Slide open the battery compartment lid of
the handset.
2 Connect the battery connector with the
correct polarity (black and red cords).
3 Hook the cords and insert the battery
pack.
4 Close the lid.
