Network Connections and
Associated Settings
Insert a commercially available LAN card (10BASE-T
or 100BASE-T) into the PC CARD slot on the rear
panel, and connect the unit to your network via the
card.
Three ID1 users who are permitted only to view the
live image and one ID2 or ID3 user can simultaneously
access the unit. When multiple users are accessing, the
number of connected users is displayed on the screen.
Connection
Attach a ferrite core to an Ethernet cable, and connect
the cable to a LAN card.
Note
Be sure to disconnect the power to the HSR-X200/
X200P when attaching/detaching a LAN card.
Settings
Perform the necessary settings with 5. NETWORK
SET of MAIN MENU 2.

page 17(GB).

LAN CARD: Select the type of your LAN card.
Network card setting (LAN1 or LAN2) differs
depending on network interface specifications.
Please set as follows:
LAN1: COREGA FEtherPCC-TXD or equivalent
(100BASE-TX/10BASE-T type)
LAN2: COREGA FEtherPCC-TD or equivalent
(10BASE-T type)
For a list of applicable LAN cards, consult your Sony
dealer.
NETWORK CONTROL: Set to ON to enable
controls via the network.
Two different ON modes are selectable.
ON (DISPLAY ON): A message “NETWORK
CONTROL” is displayed on the screen of the
monitor connected to the HSR-X200/X200P
while the unit is being controlled via a network.
The playback picture will be displayed on the
monitor connected to the HSR-X200/X200P
when the unit is in Playback mode triggered via
a network.
ON (DISPLAY OFF): No message is displayed
on the screen of the monitor connected to the
HSR-X200/X200P while the unit is being
controlled via a network. The live image from a
camera is always displayed on the monitor
connected to the HSR-X200/X200P even while
the unit is in Playback mode triggered via the
network. The PLAY button does not light even
in Playback mode.
OFF: Control via a network is disabled.
IP ADDRESS: Set the address to be used to access
this unit.
For effective addresses, ask your system
administrator.
