Select the servo reference signal using this menu.

The input signal that is input to either the CAMERA

connector or the SDI IN connector and is selected by the
VIDEO INPUT SELECTOR switch on the connector
panel, is selected as the servo reference signal.
EXT :
An externally input signal is forcibly selected as the
servo reference signal.
However, when no input signal is connected to the
REFERENCE IN connector, servo systems operate on
internal reference signal.

When the EXT position is selected by the SERVO A/V
REFERENCE
NTSC
REFERENCE SELECT item, any of the input signals that are

connected to the REFERENCE IN connector is selected as the
reference signal on which the entire system of the unit operates.
HD :
Either 1125/59.94 or 1125/60 signal of both the positive
and negative polarity sync signals that is input to the
REFERENCE IN connector, is selected as the reference
signal of playback mode and audio signal recording
mode.
Either 59.94 kHz or 60 kHz sync signal is selected by
the SYSTEM menu item “SYSTEM”. (Refer to Section
6-3 of Operation Manual.)
NTSC : Either the video signal with chroma and burst (VBS) or
the B/W video signal (VS) that is input to the
REFERENCE IN connector, is selected as the reference
signal of playback mode and audio signal recording mode.
