For details on how to clean the video head, refer to Section

“5-2-3. Cleaning the Tape Running Surface of the Upper
Drum and Video Heads”.

The video heads should be cleaned periodically to avoid
head clogging.

Meter Brightness Adjustment

1-12-1. Tracking Adjustment

To adjust the tracking, perform the following procedure.

Perform the following operations in the setup menu.

(Refer to Section 3-1.)

Insert the screwdriver tip into the hole for tracking
adjustment and adjust the tracking.

Remove the screw and open the L SUB cover.

Insert the screwdriver tip into the hole for LCD
contrast and adjust the LCD brightness.
