2-1. Error Messages
The unit has a self-diagnostic function which detects abnormalities of the unit.
When an error is detected, error code and error message are displayed immediately on the audio meter

Tape slack is detected during threading or unthreading

TAPE SLACK
Tape slack or tape breakage is detected during search, fast forward,
or rewind mode

TAPE SLACK
Tape slack or tape breakage is detected during playback or record mode,
or the mechanical lock of the supply or take-up reel is detected

TAPE TROUBLE
Tape does not run at the speed specified in fast forward or rewind mode
05
REEL NOT STOPPED
Supply or take-up reel is detected that it cannot be stopped while a
cassette tape is not inserted. Or it is detected that an over-current flows
in the supply or take-up reel motor

TAPE TENSION ERROR
Excess tension is detected
07
CAPSTAN FG ERROR
Tape does not run at the speed specified in fast forward or rewind mode

DRUM FG ERROR
It is detected that drum motor rotation is abnormal

THREAD/UNTHREAD ERROR
It is detected that threading or unthreading is not completed within the
specified time
