TAPE SLACK

Error message

2-1. Error Messages

The unit has a self-diagnostic function which detects abnormalities of the unit.

When an error is detected, error code and error message are displayed immediately on the audio meter
LCD on the front panel.

Tape slack is detected during threading or unthreading

TAPE SLACK

Tape slack or tape breakage is detected during search, fast forward,
or rewind mode

TAPE SLACK

Tape slack or tape breakage is detected during playback or record mode,
or the mechanical lock of the supply or take-up reel is detected

TAPE TROUBLE

Tape does not run at the speed specified in fast forward or rewind mode

REEL NOT STOPPED

Supply or take-up reel is detected that it cannot be stopped while a
cassette tape is not inserted. Or it is detected that an over-current flows
in the supply or take-up reel motor

TAPE TENSION ERROR

Excess tension is detected

CAPSTAN FG ERROR

Tape does not run at the speed specified in fast forward or rewind mode

DRUM FG ERROR

It is detected that drum motor rotation is abnormal

THREAD/UNTHREAD ERROR

It is detected that threading or unthreading is not completed within the
specified time

THREAD/UNTHREAD SENSOR

It is detected that threading cannot be implemented

CASSETTE COMPARTMENT

It is detected that threading cannot be implemented

UP/DOWN SENSOR

THREAD/UNTHREAD AND

It is detected that threading cannot be implemented

UP/DOWN SENSOR

HUMID

Condensation is detected
After the message disappears, check that there is no condensation
before starting using the unit

TAPE TOP/END SENSOR

Tape top and tape end are detected at the same time

It is detected that tape top sensor operation is defective

It is detected that tape end sensor operation is defective

FAN TROUBLE

An abnormality is detected in the cabinet cooling fan

CASSECOM MOTOR LOCKED

It is detected that cassette up/down operation is not completed within the
specified time

SV NVRAM ERROR

Checksum error occurs in the NV-RAM for servo
IC605/SST-13 board

READ WRITE ERROR

Error occurs during reading and writing to and from the RAM on the
SY (SST-13 board)

TG NO RESPONSE

The frame pulse from the TG on the processor has stopped

Replace the battery, and then turn on the main power again
