1-6. Removing/Installing the Cabinet

The bottom plate can be installed either to the player or recorder in the same manner. When reinstalling,
make sure that the bottom plate is not coupled with the wrong VTR.
To identify each VTR, refer to Section 1-4-1.
1. Separate the player and recorder. (Refer to Section 1-6-1.)
2. Lay the unit as shown in the figure. Open the display panel for stability.
3. Loosen the four screws securing the bottom plate fully.

Each screw is held by a stop washer. Do not separate the washer from the screw when loosening.
4. Remove the bottom plate while drawing the rear of the plate in the direction of the arrow.

During removal, take care that the VR control and POWER switch are not caught by the bottom plate.
5. Install the bottom plate in the reverse order of removal.

When installing the bottom plate, fix the screw (A) first temporarily to ensure easy operation.
6. After the bottom plate is installed, confirm that the four screws on the connector panel are not loosened.
