Ensure that the following conditions are satisfied:
Personnel has read and understood this operating manual.
Personnel has been instructed of dangers that may occur.
Personnel knows and observes the relevant accident prevention and safety regulations.
2.4 Safety measures

Keep workplace clean and free of obstructing objects.
X
Ensure sufficient lighting.
X
Keep children, house pets and unauthorized persons away from tools and installation areas.
X
Store hazardous materials and fluids safely and not in the vicinity of the station.
X
Have work on system done only by specialist personnel.
Materials and components used on site must be unrestrictedly suitable for the intended purpose
of use and must have been tested or approved by the manufacturer and must meet applicable
laws, standards, directives and regulations.

Use only such materials and components.
X
Do not make unauthorized changes to the stratified charging module.
The styring for the stratified charging module and the pumps are operated by electric power.
X
Disconnect the system before starting maintenance service and repair work and ensure that it
cannot be switched back on.

If damage occurs to the system:
Shut down the system.
Do not continue to operate the system.
Maintenance and repair
X
Never allow the cover to be removed or repairs to be made by the operator.
X
Have repairs made only by specialist personnel.
X
Use only original spare parts.
Fire protection
X
Observe relevant fire protection regulations and applicable construction codes/construction
regulations. Particularly in the following cases:
when penetrating ceilings and walls
in spaces with special/intensified requirements for preventive fire protection measures.
2.5 Residual risks
Water quality
X
Take into account corrosion protection and sludge formation in planning in accordance with DIN
1988-7 and water analyses (in accordance with VDI Directive 2035 sheets 1 and 2).

Test regularly in accordance with DIN 1988.
Water-glykol mixture
Water-glykol mixtures can be harmful to health and flammable.
X
Avoid open flames and sparking.
X
Prepare water-glykol mixture in accordance with DIN 4757 Part 1.
Steam formation
High temperatures may cause steam formation and lead to "steam hammers".
X
Only work on the stratified charging module when system is cool.
X
Provide steam hammer arrestors.
