EN
USAGE
The two-way, bass-reflex active stage cabinet is recommended primarily for amplifying
and orchestral usage. Can be placed on a stand, and van be easily moved using the
handle situated on its top. Its inbuilt secondary battery makes it possible for it to work even
without being connected to the power grid, e.g.: outdoors.
The device beside the speakers also has a power amplifier, a three way mixer, an
MP3/WMA player, FM radio and Bluetooth function. It includes a wireless handheld
microphone. External devices are connectable to it, like for example: multimedia player,
microphone, instrument, CD/DVD player, mixer, PC, mobile phone.
POWER SUPPLAY POSSIBILITIES
The stage cabinet can be operated using three different power sources. Besides the usual
power cord it has an inbuilt secondary battery, and an outer 12 V vehicle secondary battery
can also be connected to it. In this last possibility please make sure you connect the red /
black connector as prescribed (
23
.) (
22
.): +/- 12 Volt. Use a wire with a diameter at least
2x1 mm²! (not included) Place the outer secondary battery in the vicinity of the stage
cabinet with the shortest connection cable possible.
•
After operation and charging remove every power cord!
SETUP FOR OPERATION
Make sure the connection is done like the functions shown on the control panel. Make
every connection when the system is not under electricity! Shut down both the stage
cabinet and the devices you want to connect! Make sure that the connectors are
connected according to the polarity regulation. Keep away the microphone cable and the
audio connection cables from the power cord!
Connect the power cord first to the stage cabinet, then to the power grid. Before putting the
device under voltage for the first time, check if the connection is done right. The connection
must be stable and shortproof, and the LEVEL volume-controller must be in minimum
position.
After this on the turned on stage cabinet you can start carefully upping the level-controllers'
settings to your taste. Every time before you turn the device ON or OFF (
25
.) set the
LEVEL controller (
21
.) to minimum, so the at this time occasionally produced sound does
not damage the speakers!
CHARGING THE SECONDARY BATTERY
The device is usable without connecting it to the power grid, using the inbuilt secondary
battery. Before first use the secondary battery must be charged. Connect the network
cable and leave the stage cabinet turned off. During charging there is a blue LED light.
Finish charging by removing the power cord from the power grid socket after 10-12 hours,
or after 24 hours pass. Can be charged during its use, but that increases charge time.
•
After you finish charging, or using the device, remove the power cord from the power grid
socket! Leave it only if after fully charged it is in use. Even if the device is turned off the
secondary battery charger still functions as long as the device is connected to the power
grid.
•
Charge time is ca. 10-12 hour. This ensures approximately 5-7 hours of operation time
from the secondary battery, which is highly dependent on the set volume level.
•
For a longer lifespan keep the secondary battery charged even when not using the
device!
•
The secondary battery used here is a closed, lead-acid type. Does not need
maintenance. At the end of it lifespan can be replaced by a specialist. Recommended
types: RT1245E, RT 1272, RT 1270ES (before purchase check the parameters of the
chosen secondary battery)
•
Removable, after removing the lid on the backside. The lid is fixed by six screws.
MAXIMUM VOLUME
Every speaker must be warmed up before the intended usage. At the first 30-50 operation
hours can only be used at 50% volume.
At higher volume settings – in some cases – there can be distorted, lower quality sound.
This can be caused by a too big input signal. In order to avoid this, lower the input signal
strength, or if necessary the main volume (
LEVEL
). The systems maximum volume is that
witch still enables a good quality and sound with no distortions.
By further upping the volume the outwards output will not grow, on the contrary it will
experience more distortions! This is harmful to the speakers, and can lead to malfunctions!
If you connect a microphone, place it as far from the stage cabinet as you can, so you can
sort out possible audio feedbacks! Do not direct the stage cabinet directly at the
microphone, because the audio feedback can damage the speakers! While using the
microphone slowly up the volume, and if experiencing feedback turn it back down
immediately, and if necessary relocate the stage cabinet in another position!
MP3/WMA LEJÁTSZÁS (USB/SD/SDHC/MMC háttértárolóról)
The device is operational if its display light is on. If you place in an
USB

•
The last played song can be restarted upon turning on
•
Suggested memory format: FAT 32. Do not use NTFS formatted memory devices!
•
If the device does not emits sound, or does not recognize the USB/SD/SDHC/MMC
memory, then remove, and reconnect the memory and select it again using the MODE
button. If necessary turn the device off and on again
•
Only remove the external memory, after you have switched to an alternate source using
the MODE button, or turned the device off! Otherwise the data can be damaged. Do not
remove the connected external device during play!
•
The USB can only be placed in one way. If stuck, rotate it around and try again, do not
force it!
•
The slanted part of the SD/SDHC/MMC must face upward, the contacts are on the right
side.
•
The specific characteristics of the mass storage unit can cause abnormal functioning, this
does not mean a malfunction in the device!
•
Due to the compressed files, the used MP3 encoder programs, and the quality of the
USB/SD memory, there can be some abnormal functioning, which are not a malfunction in
the device.
•
Even the playing of the supported files is not always guaranteed, because they can be
influenced by software, and hardware circumstances not depending on the manufacturer
•
Due to their different parameters there can be a volume and sound quality difference
between the various audio files.
•
DRM protected files are not guaranteed to play
•
You can also connect an MP3/MP4 player with a USB cable, but do not connect a hard
drive!
•
Outside of the playable MP3 (WMA) files, do not store other type of files on the USB / SD
device, because these can slow or impair the play
•
do not connect mobile phones, or navigation to the USB socket with an intent to charge
them
•
Make sure that no foreign can get into the USB and memory card sockets, because they
can cause fatal damage
Warning!
For lost and damaged data etc. the manufacturer assumes no responsibility,
even if the data etc, are lost, damaged during the use of the product. It is advised to back
up any data, or track that is on the connected data storage device to the PC.
MP3 – ID3 Tag TEXT INORMATION
On the display the text information for the MP3 track are shown. The display can use 10
characters for this purpose at a time, and switches automatically. The text information can
contain the following: name of the song, name of the album, name of the performer.
•
The text only shows if the MP3 file has such. These can be connected to the MP3 file
during its creation. If no such information is present, or not every displayable information is
given, the display will not show them.
•
Occasionally it is possible for some characters to not be displayed correctly, or not
displayed at all. This mainly affects special, or accented characters. The ID 3 Tag function
is influenced by the MP3 file creator program, and its settings. If the various tracks are
made by different compressor programs with different settings, then there can be a
difference in the displayable text information on a song by song basis
BLUETOOTH FUNCTION
It is possible through a wireless connection to connect with other music players, mobile
phones, PCs with BLUETOOTH function in a maximum 10 meter radius (outdoors). After
this the music played on the device can be heard. First choose the BLUETOOTH mode on
the stage cabinet with the
MODE
(
11
.) button. On the display the BLUETOOTH
DISCONNECTED text will be shown. As described in the instruction manual of the device
you wish to connect, search for BLUETOOTH devices in the vicinity, among them this
stage cabinet. Pair and connect the two devices. If your mobile phone asks for a
password, give “0000” or “8888”. After a successful connection the BLUETOOTH
CONNECTED text is displayed.
•
Occasionally the BLUETOOTH function can be limited because of the devices specific
characteristics
