NOTE
Upgrading the firmware in your NVR will usually retain the current settings, but require a NVR restart.
2.11.1 Registering your SLS-ENVR
Before upgrading the firmware in your NVR, you must create a user account on IPCorder.com.
To create an account:
1. Direct your browser to
http://ipcorder.com/updates/register
2. Enter the information requested to create a user account.
To register the device:
1. Log into your account at:
http://ipcorder.com/updates/login/
2. On the IPCorder Upgrade Website page, click the
list your devices
hyperlink.
3. On the
My Registered Devices page
, click the
register a new device
hyperlink, then follow the on-screen instructions to
register the device.
2.11.2 Perform Online firmware upgrade
To perform an online firmware upgrade, the NVR must have access to the internet. Do the following:
1. Login to your NVR as an admin user, then click the
Settings
option at the top of the window.
2. In the left frame, click
System
to open the system submenu.
3. Click the
Firmware Upgrade
option. Notice that the upper part of the right frame displays your current firmware version.
4. Click the
Online Upgrade Mode
tab.
