SLS-ENVR Series NVR V2.1 User Manual

SECTION 3: SETTINGS MENU REFERENCE

If you shutdown your system, unplug the power to the system. To restart the system, reapply power. 

3.6.2  Firmware Upgrade menu

System firmware can be upgraded in two ways: Online (automated) and Offline (manual). Before upgrading the firmware in your 
NVR, you must create a login to IPCorder.com, and register your NVR (see “2.11.1 Registering your SLS-ENVR” on page 37 for more 
information). 

Online Upgrade Mode

To upgrade your firmware online, your NVR must have access to the internet. Click the

 Online Upgrade Mode

 tab to open the 

submenu, then click 

Check for updates

 and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the upgrade. 

Offline Upgrade Mode

Click the

 Offline Upgrade Mode

 tab to open the submenu, then click 

Get Product Key

 to generate the identifier key for your 

system. After the key is saved, click 

Upgrade Firmware
