Because the PC connects with the PVA-1500xx I-V Measurement Unit via Wi-Fi, the
built-in Wi-Fi interface is not available to simultaneously connect to other networks or
devices. To avoid this limitation, you can add a USB Wi-Fi adapter as the second
network interface.
When you are using the PVA-1500xx and the WiFi link to the I-V Unit hotspot
temporarily drops, there is some chance that the PC will attempt to automatically connect
to another network in your list that is set to “connect automatically”. To avoid this, pull
up the network list on your PC, check the "connect automatically" box for the I-V Unit
hotspot, and uncheck the same box for the unwanted network.

/SolSensor Wireless Network
The wireless network that interconnects your PC to the I-V Measurement Unit and
SolSensor uses a Zigbee protocol and operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
NOTE
Your I-V Measurement Unit, SolSensor, and Wireless USB Adapter come from the
factory paired to one another. They are labeled with matched Network ID numbers that
look like this example:
Network ID
0F96E4A7
This protects their communication network from interference from any other PVA kits
that are working nearby.
If you own multiple sets of PV Analyzer equipment, be aware that each is a matched set.
To avoid communications problems, keep the set together.
A SolSensor 200 can be paired with a different I-V Unit if necessary. Call Solmetric
Technical Support for assistance.
To see a diagram of the network, select the network icon at the lower left corner of your
measurement screen, as shown in Figure 17.

The network diagram appears, as shown in Figure 18.
