PLANTING DISTANCE BETWEEN SEEDS

Depending on the model of the machine, the sowing units 

may have:

6.1.1  MECHANICAL TRANSMITION

To adjust planting distance in each row and therefore the 

plant population per hectare to be planted, the transmission 

ratio of the machine needs to be adjusted. For this purpose, 

the machine is provided with two gearbox.

The total plant population (number of plants per hectare) 

depends on the machine’s row spacing and the planting 

distance, see the following tables.
