GSR2700 ISX Operations Manual

Chapter 2

GSR2700 ISX Components

Observe the following guidelines when handling cables:

1.

Before inserting the cable, ensure that you are using the right
cable for the port.

2.

Check the color coding on the cable and the port to ensure
that they match.

3.

Line up the red dot on the cable connector shell with the red
index mark on the port.

4.

Insert the connector until it seats with a click. It will then be
locked in place.

To remove a cable, grasp the connector and pull straight out. If
there is a knurled ring, grasp it and pull.

Batteries

The GSR2700 ISX incorporates two internal custom Li-Ion battery
packs. Table 6 provides approximate operational run times for
the batteries, based on the setup and survey methods you use.

CAUTION

Do not pull directly on the cable.

Table 6: Battery Operation Times

Internal batteries will power the unit continuously for <X>
