3 Configuring Your Computer for TCP/IP

After you install your SMCD3G Cable Modem Gateway, configure the TCP/IP settings on a
computer that will be used to configure your Gateway. This chapter describes how to
configure TCP/IP for various Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh operating systems.
