7. Operation
Despite accurately programmed settings
circulating-oil systems may produce error
messages during the start phase due to low oil
temperature and high oil viscosity. This can be
avoided with the external signal ”START
MODE” (start override). The start-mode value
can be programmed as a percentage of the se-
tup value (factory setting: 20 % of the setup
value). The start-mode parameters are exter-
nally activated or deactivated by an isolated
contact.
If an external ”start-mode signal” is used, it
will not be possible to connect the eleventh
measuring point. If an external ”reset signal” is
also used, the twelfth measuring point is not
used. Furthermore, the respective measuring
points must be switched off in this case (see
actual/setup value comparison).
If a master device is defined, it will pass the
external ”reset signal” or external ”start-mode
signal” on to all the slave devices The actual oil flow through the gear wheel
control corresponds to the specified oil flow.
