4. Using the Modem
When you insert the Sierra Wireless AirPath 300, the Service
Connection Progress screen displays the connection status.
Once the connection is “Established”, you can start Watcher
or the network application of your choice. The LED
indicators show the status of your connection (as described in
Table 4-1 below).
Watcher provides a display of the battery and signal strength
(RSSI) indications. When the connection status is
“Registered” (OnAir LED on steady) you can use your
handheld for email and Internet applications.
4.1. Reading the LED Indicators
Three light emitting diodes (LEDs) are located on the top right
corner of the AirPath 300. The LEDs reflect the status of the
wireless modem. They are labelled
