- The Programmer/Tester displays the first message in the list.
0 - 4
- The Programmer/Tester will display the previous message in
the list. When the first message is reached it will wrap around
to the last message.
5 - 9
- The Programmer/Tester will display the next message in the
list. When the last message is reached it will wrap around to
the first message.
YES
- The Programmer/Tester displays the following message:
SEARCHING FOR DEVICE
POLLING DEVICE
PLEASE WAIT...
After several seconds the display shows the following:
CURRENT POLL
A: A1/A2 P1/P2
Where:
CURRENT POLL = the name of the current poll.
A1 = the first address of the device.
A2 = the second address of the device for dual address devices.
P1 = the first poll byte.
P2 = the second poll byte for dual address devices.
NOTE:
Polls are continuously executed. The display is constantly up-
dated with the current poll bytes. If the YES, NO, or C keys are
depressed while in this mode, then the polling stops and the
Programmer/Tester enters the previous section where it prompts
for poll type. Prompting begins at the last poll name that was
executing.
CAUTION
If a relay-equipped device (ICP or TRI) is removed from the pro-
gramming cable while the FPI-32 is still polling, the state of the
relay cannot be guaranteed before the control panel is powered up.
