6. Connect standby batteries only to terminals BAT+ and BAT-. The batteries may be installed in
either the bottom of the cabinet or in a UL listed battery enclosure.

12. Up to 8 LED-3/-4 modules may be connected to the serial bus (TB5). For further information,
refer to the

P/N 315-093066. Up to 4 (6) RSA-16/RSA-DRIVs
may be connected to the serial bus (TB5). Refer to the

structions,
P/N 315-096035 or P/N 315-095898, as applicable. When 2 PPS-10M modules are
used, connect all RSA/LED modules to the first PPS-10M.
13. When initiating circuits are configured as supervisory type zones, only shorting devices may be
used.
14. When 2 PPS-10M power supplies are used, cut jumper JP3 on the second PPS-10M.
15. When 2 PPS-10M power supplies are used, the serial bus, TB5, on the second PPS-10M is
disabled.
16. Generic and Supervisory zones must use shorting devices only.

18. When connecting between two PPS-10Ms, cut and remove the red wires from the 15" cable in the
PCK-1 kit (P/N 500-695066).
