If the user selects Canada,
latching supervisory zones are
enabled and the PXL annunciates events in the order of first to
last in the LCD display. When a supervisory is initiated in a
latching supervisory zone, the LEDs on the PCM-1 and PZE-4B
blink until the supervisory is acknowledged. If the supervisory
condition is removed from the zone, the PXL must be reset to
remove the annunciation of the condition.
SET CUSTOM MESSAGES
- This Program selection allows the user
to assign custom messages to the System ID, Initiating Device
Circuits, Notification Appliance Circuits, and/or programmable relays.
The messages can be up to 20 characters long.
The following screen appears on the display when the user is pro-
gramming custom messages:

SET GLOBAL RELAYS
- This Program selection allows the user to
set any programmable relay to operate on either any alarm, any
supervisory condition, or any trouble condition. Global relays will not
change state when a Generic zone is activated.
SET NAC CUTOFF TIMER
- This Program selection allows the user
to select the length of time the signaling devices will activate before
they are automatically silenced. A selection of 0 disables the cutoff
timer.
SET NAC INHIBIT TIMER
- This Program selection allows the user
to select the length of time the signaling devices will activate before
they can be silenced.
SET PASSCODES
- Passcodes can have from 4 to 8 characters.
Use the 12-button keypad to enter passcodes.
Always make a
record of passcodes when they are set.
Installer's passcode
allows access to all functions.
Owner's passcode
allows limited access, as shown in Figure 23.
SET SYSTEM ID
- In the normal screen, the second line of the
display can be used to identify the installation by site name. The
default is CERBERUS PYROTRONICS.
TEST
- This menu selection allows the user to test various parts of
the System.
