Troubleshooting

Error messages on the start screen
Several tests are performed when starting the software. Failed tests are labeled with a
red icon.
The following information help you rectify the cause for the failed test.
Failed test
Possible measure
nanoScan3 Tool initialized succesfully
Restart software.
nanoScan3 Tool has a verified configuration
Verify the configuration in the
Settings
menu.
Communication with assigned nanoScan3 is possible
Check cabling and type of the connected
safety laser scanner. Check network configura‐
tion.
Basic parameters of nanoScan3 configuration suc‐
cessfully loaded
Check configuration of the safety laser scan‐
ner. Contact SICK if necessary.
