For this sample, try to avoid detecting the noise around the well-defined object. 

 
Set the contrast low, contrast hysteresis, and minimum segment length to 

highlight only the contours, and if possible, no noise present. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

High contrast 

The high contrast sample 

shows incomplete 

highlighted edges. 

 

Optimal 

The image shows 

favorable filtered pixels. 

 

Low contrast 

Adjusting to a lower value 

will make the contrast 

adjustment very sensitive, 

that it will be able to 

detect minor pixels.
