5.1. USB Driver Installation

This section describes the driver installation process under the Microsoft® Windows®
XP operating system. The driver is to be installed for the first Tester connection to a
specific PC only. Further working with the same PC does not require re-installation of
the driver.

Connect the Tester to a PC using a standard USB cable. Switch on the Tester. Execute
the “Main menu” −> “Memory menu...” −> “Upload files” sequence. The operating
system will automatically find a new device and open the following dialogue box:

Select “No, not this time” and click “Next”.

Select “Install from a list or specific location” and click “Next”.
