Normal
No missing parts in the measurement ring shown.
Nothing is shown in the background (all black).
The measurement values are stable.
Abnormal
When unnecessary light exists:
The background is uneven.
The measurement values are unstable.
'Retry Error' may appear.
When the lens being measured is extremely dirty or has
some flaws, and /or the lens under the lens stand is dirty:
A part of the measurement ring is missing.
The measurement values are unstable.
When the missing part is large (75% or more of the
whole ring), 'Retry Error' is indicated.
Note: SLM-4000 uses a black-white LCD with low resolution and the ring may seem chipped. When the ring
misses some part, check as follows.
