• UTOC was read but total TNO and the number of characters of
NAME was 0?
• Focusing error was caused by shock during REC-PLAY.
• Although UTOC can be read but UTOC cannot be rewritten.
• Data of EEPROOM is not correct.
• As a result of occurrence of failure in the power amplifier circuit
stage the power supply is turned off, and the "PROTECT" error
display blinks.

• Perform recording to check that the disc
is recordable disc.
• Check that the disc is free from flaw,
dust, fingerprint and black spot. Check for
disc disalignment and run-out.
• Check that the record head contact is
normal. Check that there is no broken wire
between PWB and the recording head.
• Once reset, and redo. If error occurs
persistently, replace EEPROM.
• Check, applying the trouble-shooting
described below.

(2) Crrect temperature depending on ambient temperature according
to the following table.
An example: When ambient temperature is 22
°
C and meadured
temperature is 73H
Temperature setting = 73 H - 01 H
= 72 H
* When the measured temperature fluctuates between
two values, take lower one (if temperature fluctuates
between 73H and 72H, take 72H).
