The numbered items in the Figure show the basic functional areas and detailed de s crip-
tions will follow for each: 

Item 

Description 

1 

Network IP 

– This is where you enter the Subnet of the particular net-

work you wish to connect 

2 

Node No. 

– This is where you enter a range of Nodes in which to con-

nect.  Entering values here will cause the “Refresh” button to enable.  
Clicking this button will cause the rest of the items (3, 4, and 5) to be 
populated. 

3 

ECIO Connection Status 

–. This indicates whether a remote PLC is 

currently connected to the module.

ECIO Transparency 

– See section Transparency mode 

5 

Indicates the current on/off state of each digital input and output 

Please note that some of the detailed information shown in this figure may be different for 
your particular system and that most of these fields will be blank until you actually initiate 
communications.
