6 Startup
In Abhängigkeit der Ansteuerung und der Anwendung werden folgende zwei Methoden
zur Inbetriebnahme unterschieden:
Depending on the control and application, there are 2 possible startup methods:
1. Startup with ECShell and PLC Integration
With this startup method you can start up a conveyor line with the int egrated c onvey or
logic without connecting the fieldbus controller to a higher-level PLC


2. Startup with Bus Master
The integrated conveyor logic of the fieldbus controller is not used. The travel commands
are issued only by the external control signal source.


6.1 Startup with ECShell
6.1.1 Auto configuration
Run the auto configuration process according Operating Instructions - ECDriveS ® E CC-
DFC Fieldbus Controller, chapter 7 and 8.
6.1.2 Configuration ECIO Module
ECShell main screen
Assuming you have either changed your PC’s configuration or changed the Auto Configu-
ration Master’s configuration as described; you should now be able to us e the ECShell
main screen
to view your system’s status and change operational parameters. The main
screen is also shown when you first run ECShell.
