4.4. Mounting the foil sensor (optional)
For sentiotec heat plates, the foil sensor is inserted into a recess provided in the
heat plate. Choose the most powerful heat plate for this purpose.
For infrared foils, the foil sensor is installed directly on the heating foil and fixed
with a strain relief (see Fig. 4 ).
1. Install the head

of the foil sensor directly between the insulation and
the heating foil

2. Fasten the strain relief

outside the foil area.
3. Lay the 2-pin cable

in the cabin wall and secure with cable ties.

CAUTION! - INCORRECT READINGS:
If the foil sensor is not fitted directly on the foil, it will produce incorrect readings.
Install the foil sensor directly on the foil.
