Charger
Module
Invalid output channel.
Chargers must be
set to use a valid output channel setting:
either an assigned output channel 1 4
(representing Ch A Ch D, respectively) for
channelized systems or 0 for non-
channelized operation.
Combining channelized chargers with
non-channelized chargers in the same
unit (or system) is not supported.
- If necessary, enable the channel using the
keypad "Enable/Disable DC Output Ch"
selection in the "Other Settings" menu or the
setup utility.
- To select a different output channel,
reassign the charger to match its actual
output channel connection using the "Set DC
Output" setting in the "Other Settings" menu
or by using the setup utility.
- To operate without channelized outputs,
use the keypad "Enable/Disable DC Output
Ch" selection in the "Other Settings" menu or
the setup utility to disable all output
channels for the display board. Then use the
"Set DC Output" setting in the "Other
Settings" menu or the setup utility to assign
all chargers to the default DC output channel
(0). For factory default settings install
jumpers on the charger in all three Float
Voltage positions or two float settings plus
one Range jumper. For other standard
settings, install three jumpers on the charger
to select the Battery Type, Float Voltage, and
Range for your battery.

Charger
Module
Duplicate charger location settings
within
a unit with channelized outputs. Every
charger in a unit configured for
channelized outputs must have a unique
charger location setting.
Duplication is allowed for chargers in
different units, i.e. with different "Unit
Serial Numbers".
Non-channelized units do not use charger
positions.
- use a different position number (jumper
setting) For each charger in a channelized
multi-charger unit.
- When replacing a charger in a channelized
multi-charger unit, set the replacement
charger For the same position as the charger
being removed.
- To prevent confusion, the position jumper
settings should agree with the position
markings on labels, internal wiring, etc. (so
the displayed charger ID number will match
its physical and electrical position).

Invalid jumper settings
for a non-
channelized charger.
Non-channelized chargers must use either
no jumpers (for programmed settings,
including keypad control) or a valid three

settings.
- For software programmed settings (with or
without keypad control), remove all charger
output setting jumpers.
- For factory default settings install jumpers
on the charger in all three Float Voltage
positions or two Float settings plus one
Range jumper.
- For other standard settings install three
jumpers on the charger to select the Battery
Type, Float Voltage, and Range for your
