CLEAN THE FRONT PANEL AND FILTERS OF THE INTERIOR UNIT ON A REGULAR BASIS, AT
LEAST ONCE PER TWO WEEKS. MAKE SURE BRANCHES, LEAVES AND OTHER RUBBISH
DOES NOT PILE UP ON THE EXTERIOR UNIT. CLEAN THE EXTERIOR UNIT MECHANICALLY
WITH A BROOM ON A REGULAR BASIS
.
We recommend having the interior of the unit cleaned by a specialised service once a year
(filter and inner space of the unit). To have the air-conditioner cleaned professionally you can
call the authorized service center or a technician, who installed you air-conditioner. Before
cleaning the air-conditioner, turn it off and remove the plug from the power outlet or turn the
fuse off. The following diagram only serves as an explanation.
Cleaning the front panel and filter
1. Open the front cover of the interior unit. Remove the filters.
2. With the help of a vacuum cleaner or soft brush, remove the dust and other dirt from the front panel
and filters. If the dust can not be cleaned easily, clean the filters with warm soap water.
3. Then rinse them in clean water and let it dry away from light. Do not expose them to direct sunlight.
4. Return the filters to their initial position and close the front panel. Before inserting the filters into the
unit, make sure they are completely dry.
5. Wipe the surface of the air-conditioner with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe dry.
(Do not use gas, chemical solvents, abrasive cleaning agents or similar cleaners to clean the air-
conditioner).
Prior to not using the air-conditioner for a longer period of time
1. Set the fan on several hours of operation so that the unit dries out completely inside.
2. Turn the air-conditioner off and disconnect it from the power outlet. Clean the filters and exterior cover.
3. Remove the batteries from the remote control.
In case of not using the air-conditioner for a longer period of time
1. Clean the filters and insert them back in their original position. Clean the interior and exterior unit.
2. Connect the unit to the power outlet.
3. Insert the batteries in the remote control.
Note:
The input and output of air must not be blocked/ covered,
Do not use gas, benzene, thinners, abrasive cleaning agents, insecticides etc. because
they could damage the unit.
Do not disassemble the batteries, dispose of them in fire or common household waste,
but dispose of them at a designated site.
