If any of the following signs present themselves, please turn the respective circuit
breaker off and contact an authorised service centre.
The power cord is overheated or damaged.
An unusual sound is coming from the unit.
The circuit breaker or fuse is turning the air-conditioner off during operation.
A burnt odour can be smelt coming from the unit during operation.
Water is leaking from the interior unit non-stop.

Problem analysis
When setting up heat
mode, the fan of the
interior unit stops.
This process takes a max. of 10 minutes.
(If the exterior temperature is low and the
humidity high, the air-conditioner starts to
freeze up). The operation automatically
renews after 10 minutes.
Crackling sounds are
heard.
It is caused by the expansion and
shrinking of the front panel of the interior
unit as a result of temperature changes.
Sounds of running water
are heard.
It is the sound of the coolant expanding
inside the air-conditioner.
It is the sound of gathered water dripping
on the heat exchanger.
The sound of frost thawing on the heat
exchanger.
The interior unit makes
a hissing sound
and clicks.
The clicking is caused by switching the fan
or compressor.
The hissing is caused by the movement
of the coolant inside of the air-conditioner.
If the vertical vents is
inclined downwards
during COOL mode,
the vent may begin to
automatically tilt for 3
minutes and then return
to its original setting.
This function prevents the occurrence of
condensed water and it is not a defect.
An odour can be smelt
from the interior unit.
The air-conditioner may absorb odours
from walls, carpets, furniture and then
blow them back into the room.
Water is leaking
from the exterior unit.
During cooling, water condenses on the
connecting pipe.
During heating or thawing, water that is
thawed or evaporated will leak.
During heating, water drips from the heat
exchanger.
