SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Warning
Do not use the following for cleaning:
chemical solvents, insecticides, flammable sprays, which could
damage the surface of the air-conditioner. Do not spray the
interior unit with water.
Before you turn on the unit, make sure the windows and doors are
closed (for more effective cooling we recommend pulling down
the blinds or closing the curtains). In case of need, ventilate the
room briefly.
If you notice anything unusual, such as a burnt smell, turn the unit
off immediately and turn off the respective circuit breaker.
Do not install the unit in a place, where flammable gas leaks. In
case of electric discharge inside the air-conditioner, an explosion
or fire may easily occur.
Do not use this unit for unusual purposes such as in spaces,
where mechanical goods, food, paintings etc are stored. These
products demand a specific humidity and temperature, hence
their quality could be adversely affected.
Do not use the unit in COOL/DRY mode for too long in high
humidity (over 80%) as it could lead to the drainage of condensed
water from the unit.
Never stick your fingers or foreign objects into the openings for
air input and output. There is a rotating ventilator inside, which
can cause injury or be damaged.
This unit must be installed in accordance with effective standards of electro-installation
of the respective country, where the unit is installed.
This unit must not be installed in the laundry room.
This unit must be installed 2.3 m above the floor.
This unit must be placed so that it may reach a power outlet designed especially for this unit.
According to national regulations, models with a cooling capacity above 4600 W (17000 BTU/h)
must have disconnection built in all poles of the fixed connection, with a minimum 3 mm space and a
residual current device in all poles with a rated current minimum of 10 mA.
Do not install, repair or move the air-conditioner yourselves. Improper handling poses risk of fire,
electric shock, dropping the unit may cause injury to persons. Contact an authorised dealer or
specialist, that provides installation and services air-conditioners.
If the electric cord is damaged, contact a specialised service to replace it. Use of units with damaged
electric cords/plugs is prohibited.
Do not turn the unit on if the outdoor temperature drops below +5 °C.
