The design of a sail can vary depending on its intended used and the desired performance.
The clew of the sail can be high or low.
In most cases a genoa has a low clew, with the foot sweeping as close to the deck as possible. To obtain
the best sail trim when reefing, you must be prepared to adjust the sheeting position as required.
