Monitoring Software

The  Carriazo-Pendular  Monitoring  Software  was
developed  in  order  to  uniquely  display  the  different
suction-cutting  phases  in  detail.  The  software  can  read
the  data  after  execution  of  the  cut  from  the  Carriazo-
Pendular console and graphically display it.
For  more  details  refer  to  the  User  Manual  “Carriazo-
Pendular – Monitoring Software”.

Disposable Tubing

The disposable tubings are

intended for the use

with

Carriazo-Pendular

only and for the complete

pressure  range  provided  by  Carriazo-Pendular  (tubings  may  withstand  evacuation  up  to  -675
mmHg = -900 mbar at sea level). The connectors are such that they can be connected with a
SCHWIND  suction  ring  on  the  one  side  and  with  the  Carriazo-Pendular  console  on  the  other
side.  The tubings are intended to establish and  maintain a partial  vaccum  within the suction
chamber of the SCHWIND suction ring in order to fix its position on the eyeball and in order to
remove tear liquid and  wash or moisten liquids  commonly used in
refractive  surgery  from  the  eye  and  guide  them  into  the  vaccum
chamber of the tubing.  The total length of the PVC tubing including
the  PVC  chamber  is  approx.  2,5m  (no  other  variant  available).The
sterile

disposable tubing

will be delivered in a box of 10 pieces each.

Each tubing is separately packed and has the expiration date printed
on the labelled packing. Refer to chapter

2.10.4 Type Label of the

Disposable Tubings

All tubings are carefully inspected by SCHWIND to guarantee best
tubing quality.
