Lifetime

The expected lifetime of the Carriazo-Pendular microkeratome system is

6 years

when the device

is operated according to its intended use and when the regular maintenance and safety
inspections fulfilled.

9.7

Disposal

Upon reaching the end of its lifetime, the Carriazo-Pendular is considered to be metal and
electronic scrap and should be appropriately disposed off according to

European Directive

2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment – WEEE)

(Regulation valid for EEC countries; Please consider the valid national regulations)

The device must be disposed off separately from other household waste.

Please contact your local authority or waste disposal service for the return and recycling of this
product.

Clock Battery and Accumulator

The system contains a battery and two accumulators.
They must be disposed of separately from other household waste.
