INITIAL ASSEMBLY AND ATTACHMENT TO TRACTOR

Lifting the FLEX-ARM Shipping Package

Remove the FLEX-ARM from the trailer using an
overhead boom. Attach chains to the FLEX-ARM
using the three lifting hooks in the locations
shown. The lengths of the chains may need to be
adjusted to provide a level lift.

Remove Shipping Brackets

Block the FLEX-ARM under the frame at point ‘A’. Remove shipping brackets ‘B’. Break the banding
connecting the brush guard ‘C’ to the strut arm. Swing the hitch forward and connect the strut arm to the hitch
at point ‘D’. Use the 1/2 X 1-3/4” bolt, lock washer, and flat washer to fix the pin head. Connect the brush guard
to the strut arm at point ‘E’ using the 5/8 X 4-1/2” bolt and locknut that is attached to the brush guard. Remove
the tie down hooks ‘F’ and 5/8” bolts from the castor frames and main arm.
