Maintenance:
Maintenance not necessary
Control and Review:
All components: execute visual control for damages and wear.
Thoroughly check the handpiece and cable for defects of the insulation.
Ensure a firm position of the swinger in the body of the ultrasonic handpiece. Do
not use any damaged components.
Packaging:
Screw the front-cap on the ultrasonic handpiece. Individually shrink-wrap the
ultrasonic handpiece, the tool and the rinsing adapter in standardized sterile bags
for steam-sterilization. The packaging has to be large enough.
Attention! The cable may not be sterilized
Sterilization:
Steam-sterilization (fractioned vacuum) Autoclave device class B: 5 min. at 135°C
2bar. The holding time should be appropriate for the germs to be expected, if
necessary, select prion–program (Example Melag Vakuklave 43 B)
Attention! The cable may not be sterilized!
Storage:
No special requirements, please make sure that the ultrasonic cable will not be
buckled
Additional information:
Please remove all fluid remains before use, especially on the electric contacts.
When sterilizing several instruments in one sterilization cycle, make sure not to
exceed the maximum load of the autoclave.
