This chapter tells you the tricks for speeding up Direct and for improving
text-recognition accuracy. It explains how to recognize text from poor-
quality documents such as multiple-generation copies and newspaper
pages. Adjusting the

Brightness

setting is the easiest way to improve text-

recognition accuracy.
