4.2 White balance
Use the joystick to go to the desired menu item and confirm your choice by pressing
„IRIS
OPEN“.
You can choose from ATW, MANUAL, AWC-SET, OUTDOOR or INDOOR.
ATW:
Automatic white balance for colour temperatures from 1.800°K to 10.500°K.
Manual:
After making your settings for ATW and AWC-
SET, you can use the „manual“
function to fine-tune your settings. You may also set the colour temperature for
indoor and outdoor modes.
AWC-Set:
Automatic white balance if you hold a white sheet of paper in front of the
camera (sufficient light required) and press IRIS OPEN.
Outdoor:
Select this option for colour temperature from 1.700°K to 11.000°K.
Indoor:
Select this option for colour temperature from 4.500°K to 8.500°K.
Note:
White balance might not work properly in case of the following:
d.
If the colour temperature surrounding the object is out of scope, e.g. clear sky or
sunset)
e.
If the light surrounding the object is low or dull
f.
If the camera is pointed to a fluorescent light source of if the camera is installed in a
location with changing light conditions
Press „IRIS CLOSE“ on the keyboard to exit the menu.
