Language selection

By default your radio will display all menus and messages in English. You can choose your preferred
language.
1. Access the menu for the current mode by pressing and holding the Menu button. Press the Menu

Up or Down buttons until 'System settings' is highlighted on the display. Press the Select button to
enter the settings menu.

2. Press the Menu Up or Down buttons until 'Language' is highlighted on the display. Press the Select

button to enter the menu.

3. Press the Menu Up or Down buttons until your preferred language is highlighted and press the

Select button to confirm the setting.

Headphone socket

A 3.5mm Headphone Socket located on the rear of your radio is provided for use with headphones.
Inserting a plug automatically mutes the internal loudspeaker.
Please be aware that the sensitivity of headphones can vary widely. We therefore recommend setting
volume to a low level before connecting headphones to the radio. It is also recommended to reduce
the volume before unplugging your headphones.

Important:

Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
