Streaming audio quality setting
The Streaming audio quality can be set to Low/Normal/High quality.
1. Press the On/Standby button to switch on your radio.
2. Press and hold the Menu button to access the menu for the current mode.
3. Press the Menu Up or Down buttons until 'System settings' is highlighted on the display. Press and
release the Select button to enter the System Settings menu.
4. Press the Menu Up or Down buttons until 'Streaming audio quality' is highlighted on the display.
Press and release the Select button to enter the setting.
5. Press the Menu Up or Down buttons to select your option and press the Select button to confirm
your setting.
Low quality– the lowest provided bit rate
Normal quality - the median of the provided bit rate
High quality – the highest provided bit rate
Brightness control
The brightness of the display can be adjusted for when the radio is in standby and for when it is in use.
If you use the unit in the bedroom, you may prefer a lower standby brightness level than the standard
setting. There are a range of Standby brightness levels and a range for when the radio is in use. To
change the current brightness setting, please follow these steps.
1. Press the On/Standby button to switch on your radio. Access the menu for the current mode, press
and hold the Menu button.
2. Press the Menu Up or Down buttons until 'System settings' is highlighted on the display. Press and
release the Select button to enter the System Settings menu. Press the Menu Up or Down buttons
until 'Backlight' is highlighted on the display. Press and release the Select button.
3. In Backlight menu, there are 3 settings:
Time out: to adjust the length of time before the backlight turns off.
On level: to adjust the brightness when the radio is in use.
Dim level: to adjust the brightness when the radio is in standby.
Press the Menu Up or Down buttons to select your option and press the Select button to confirm
your setting.
