RECORDER SETUP [REGISTER]
Confi gure the connection settings between SAMS Pro-installed PC and recorder.
To access the recorder, you are required to enter the access information. The admin account is a sole one that can access
the recorder while up to 10 user accounts can make concurrent access.
SAMS Pro Lite does not allow you to create a new registration. You can just select to enable [Whether to Use].
Manual registration
Follow the steps below to enter the connection information manually of the recorder that is connected to the network.
From the upper menu bar, select [Video] > [Recorder Settings].
From the top tool bar, click Add < >.
Select a model in the [Recorder Model Name] list.
If you select a model name, the channel count supported by the recorder will be entered automatically in
[Number of channels]. The [Number of channels] cannot be changed by the user.
Provide the recorder name in [Recorder Name].
Enter the IP address in [IP Address].
Specify the IP port number in [IP/Port].
If you change the IP port number, connection to the recorder may fail. If you change the port number, you should set
the new port number for the recorder.
The default port number for the recorder can be specifi ed between <554~557>, which will increase or decrease by 4.
Check the [Whether to Use] option.
If you uncheck the [Whether to use] option, you cannot connect to the recorder. This option can be unchecked if you
intent not to use a specifi c recorder temporarily. Furthermore, no event video can be viewed even if you register a
camera.
