INSTALL NET FRAMEWORK 3.5 SP1 ON WINDOWS SERVER 2008

NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is required before you can install SAMS on Windows Server 2008. NET Framework 3.5 will be normally
installed while SAMS is installed on most of the operating systems. However, you must follow the instructions below to install .
NET Framework 3.5 on Windows Server 2008 before installing SQL Server 2008 R2 included in the SAMS package.

Select All Programs > Administration Tool -> Server Manager.

Select Features-> Add Feature

Check “.NET Framework 3.5.1” and press Next to start installation.

Once completed installation, check if .NET Framework 3.5.1 appears as shown in the above ﬁ gure.
