Operation Management

Operation Management

ACCESS TYPE SETTING

Specify the access type of a card holder. You can specify, for instance, executive, partner and visitor, etc as you need.

Access Type Setting [Add]

From the upper menu bar, select [Operation Management] > [Access Type Setting].

From the tool bar, click Add <

>.

Provide an access type in the [Access Type Name] input box.

Click Save <

> in the tool bar.

Modify – Use [Quick Search] at the top toolbar to ﬁ nd desired data for modiﬁ cation, change as necessary,
and click <

> to save changes.

Delete – Use [Quick Search] at the top toolbar to ﬁ nd desired data for deletion, select desired data to be

deleted, and click <

> to delete. If you are prompted to delete it, click [Yes].

FIRE GROUP SETTING

If conﬁ gured with Fire Group Setting and a certain input is selected as the [Fire Sensor] in [System] > [Input Point Setting],
a corresponding input event will open doors assigned to the input for evacuation.

Fire Group Setting [Add]

This function will help open the entry door by releasing the lock on the door when a [Fire Sensor] event occurs,
which is speciﬁ ed in [System Management] > [Input Point Setting]. This feature operates using SAMS Pro and SAMS
Communication Server Pro, which may not work for the following reasons:

- If ﬁ re events are received late because of lots of events in standby

- If the system PC is turned off or does not work

- If the communication conﬁ guration and settings with the device are not established and speciﬁ ed properly

- If SAMS Pro or SAMS Communication Server Pro is not activated

This is just an auxiliary means to help opening the entry door when a ﬁ re occurs so you must install a separate
hardware equipment to let you to manually open the door in case of a ﬁ re.

If a ﬁ re signal event occurs, SAMS Pro will open the doors of all registered sites. This is why you must specify the
applicable entry doors by setting the ﬁ re group.

Note that when you are setting the ﬁ re group, you must connect the Door Lock to Relay 1 for S30xx/S210x, and
Relay 1, 3, 8, and 10 for P40x(T), and Relay 1 for P102T.
(If you want to use SSA-P40xx as a ﬁ re group, the Door Lock should have been connected to Relay Output 1, 3, 8, and 10.)
