4.2.1.6 Record
Use this menu to save image data to the SD memory card.

Category

Target Stream
Select a stream to save.
Pre Alarm
Select a time prior to save an event prior to its occurrence.
Post alarm
Select a time to finish saving an event after its occurrence.
M-JPEG Recording
Frame Rate
Saves only 1 frame per second.(M-JPEG)
MPEG-4 Recording
Option
Saves only 1 frame per second.(M-JPEG)
Overwrite
Delete the oldest file and save a new file when no free space remains in an
inserted memory device.
Warning Message
Description : A warning sign will appear in the monitoring screen if the memory
of the SD card is insufficient due to not using the overwrite capabilities or a
defect of the SD card.
• If Overwrite is not checked on and the SD memory card is full, the camera stops recording data.
• The SNC-1300 is compatible only with SD card; MMC cannot be used. Do not insert the SD card
backward; it may damage the slot.
• Only 1 to 2GB SD and 4GB SDHC cards are supported.
• We recommend the FAT32 format.
• Please turn off the camera before removing the SD card; the data may be damaged otherwise.
Caution
1. FLIP SETUP : Inverts an image vertically (upside down).
2. MIRROR SETUP : Inverts an image horizontally by flipping the left and right.
3. SHARPNESS SETUP : Adjusts the image outline enhancement level.
Select a level that best suits your image.
Manually define an area in the picture to enhance the visibility of subjects in that area.
Resets all OSD settings to their factory default values.

Setting Outline Adjustment too high may cause the image to appear unnatural and/or cause noise in
the picture.

• Using a video auto iris lens at a low "LENS" level may prevent the camera from switching between the
Color and B&W modes automatically.
• If the Gain mode under the Exposure menu is set to “OFF”, the Day & Night mode is fixed to color and
cannot be switched.
• Using infrared illumination may result in poorer focus than using visible light illumination. To improve
focus when using IR illumination, use an Extra-Low Dispersion lens with your camera.
