4.2.1.5. Camera
To configure the OSD settings, select options from the tree on the left.
1. LENS SETUP :
DC / Video and MANUAL lenses are available to choose.
- Brightness Level :
Lets you adjust the screen brightness. Enter the level in the input window, and then
press Execute to apply the change immediately. The Apply button saves the new
settings. Brightness levels from 1 to 70 are available. Adjust the setting for the best
screen brightness.
- Focus ADJ(Adjust) :
Adjust the setting for the best focus. The Focus ADJ mode is available only if the lens is
DC/Video.

Lens (LENS)

Depending on the brightness level, certain lenses may encounter errors.
•
When using a video type auto iris lens:
˙ Adjust the ALC adjustment terminal on the lens properly. The recommended setting is the AV (Average) mode.
˙ This Brightness option may not be compatible with certain lenses.For best results, optimize the eye VR of your
lens.
˙ Disable the exposure gain, and then adjust the lens VR to a suitable brightness level.
˙ After adjusting the lens VR, test the brightness level by readjusting the Brightness menu. If the brightness still
does not change, readjust the lens VR.

4.2.1.4. Privacy
For privacy protection, you can specify areas to hide. When selecting an area in a video, the
area is masked in gray.

Check to use the Privacy masking option.
Blending Level
Blending Level adjusts the masking translucency. 5 levels are available, and
5 is the most opaque.
• New settings are saved only if you click the
button at the bottom of the screen. The
button cancels new settings.
• When selecting a mode at Video Stream on the Video / Audio page, the 960P mode saves a video
selection at 960P. 720P saves the area at 720P. (The Enable and MD Sensitivity options, however, are
not affected by the mode.)
